Larry Fulton is the Founder and Managing Principal of Fulton Equity, a Cleveland based holding company that makes investments in lower middle market companies.
Larry has 20 years of experience investing in and running lower middle market companies. Before founding Fulton Equity, he was the general manager of Alcoa Sub-Assembly & Logistics, a business unit with 5 facilities throughout the country that provided just-in-time wheel and tire assembly services. He lead the turnaround of that business unit. He also held positions as a Sr. Analyst within KeyBank's Structured Finance, a group that focused on highly leveraged M&A deals for middle market clients; an underwriter with the Small Business Administration, where he approved loans up to $5M per transaction, and senior financial analyst and controller for Marconi, where he analyzed an acquisition with $1B of aggregate value.
Larry's first acquisition was in 2003, where he purchased an Amish pallet manufacturer. In 2005, he acquired a wood crating business. He then consolidated the two operations together and formed LEFCO Industries.
In 2008, he successfully performed a Joint Venture with Worthington Industries (NYSE: WOR) (Worthington Steelpac). Steelpac produced robotically welded steel pallets for the automotive industry.
In 2018, he successfully acquired two companies: HandiCraft, a wood products business that was subsequently merged with LEFCO Worthington, and Hanlon Composites, a fiberglass manufacturer. Larry successfully sold LEFCO Worthington in 2023 to Evergreen Cooperatives and sold Hanlon Composites in 2024. In 2025, he led the acquisition of 100 year old Fish Furniture.

Larry is a graduate of Florida A&M University, the School of Business & Industry, where he earned a B.S. degree in business; and Case Western Reserve University, the Weatherhead School of Management, where he earned an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Management Policy.
